From 2007-2011, I started a small creative agency and had my own consulting practice. As a consultant I’ve worked with brands such as Intel, HP, Microsoft, Tripwire, Sungard, Fluke Networks, Alcatel-Lucent and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
In 2007 I started Happy, Inc. with a colleague to offer clients creative strategy, interactive design and technology expertise with a flexibility larger agencies couldn’t offer. For two years we worked with companies large and small to improve their digital brands, with clients such as Celestial Seasonings and Travel Oregon.
As I received more requests to take on UX/UI focused work, I left Happy, Inc. to freelance for a handful of agencies and select clients. In 2010 I worked with Devise to design the touch-screen user interface for the Fluke Networks DTX CableAnalyzer Series devices, working with a top-notch UX and research team. I designed the UI for Stockamp/Huron Consulting’s enterprise medical application working with the same UX team.
From 2001-2007 I worked at various interactive agencies in Portland, spent some time freelancing, and learned the ins and outs of creative agency life. The net result is that I’m a self-starter and can see a project through from strategy to launch and beyond.
